Maio Airport
Maio airport is now open. We traveled from Praia airport on Santiago to Maio on 6th June 08, the first flight since the airport reopened. The flight took seven minutes. Flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We took the Friday flight, and it was almost full. The terminal on Maio is very small and quaint but functions well and everyone is friendly. A very pleasant experience.
