Poor Design
This is a very strange airport. It has to be French in design as there is no convenience to anything from getting to the airport to parking, to check-in to walk what feels like 3 miles to reach a new terminal that looks like a dentists waiting room. The few services that are offered are very limited and very overpriced. They should have made Mirabel the main airport !!

Used to be Dorval...
This place used to be Dorval Airport, now it's called Trudeau, as it sounds more French. It's an average airport with expensive parking and some crazy traffic around it. It's in the middle of the city, which can be convenient for locals. Staff is mostly middle aged folks and not very friendly in general. Still not as bad as Ottawa. Terminals for local flights look more like a doctor's waiting room. At the main terminals you can plug in your notebook and get Wifi connection, I think. Water is very expensive, but you need to buy it as security takes away yours upon entering the transit section of the terminal.

I have flown in Montreal airport, if you speak to them in French they answer in French, and if you speak to them in English they speak in English.. No problems there. Everything is good..

French Radio Communication
This is the only major air hub in the world where French is also used for air-ground communication. It totally confuses English pilots and it is a wonder anything works here. ICAO is based in Montreal so you would think they could conform to the world language of aviation.
