Good Airport
I have had chance to be in this airport. It is easy to navigate and efficient. People were friendly to westerners at the airport. As a Canadian, I liked people' s attitude to me and my friendsthere.

About Bahrain Airport
Bahrain airport is a small modern airport. The first and business class travellers can use the Dilmon lounge which is a 5 stars one. Many airlines fly to this airport like British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, KLM and Lufthansa.

Bahrain International Airport
Small and nice airport. Dimensioned customs facilities; the best in Middle East. Check-in and X-ray become small for actual needs. Polite and friendly officers and workers. It was a nice visit.

Bahrain International Airport has grown in leaps and bounds since I first visited in the early 90's. I had the privilege of working on the western apron for 3 years and watched many of the improvements take place. I traveled extensively while there, so experienced it as a customer as well. The terminal is clean, neat and well organized, with many options for dining and duty-free shopping. Customs is fairly painless for a Middle Eastern country, and US visitors without a visa can buy one in immigrations for BD 5.000 (or $15 US). It is quite busy in the early morning hours; from midnight to about 3am for international departures. Midday flights to regional airports in Kuwait or Dubai are not so congested.
