Horn Island
Having recently travelled up to the remote Torres Strait Islands I can say that Horn Island Airport is a small, one room airport. The only major airline that operates out of HID is QANTASLINK. The airport staff are superb, very polite and go out of their to help you.

Don't expect any duty free up on Horn Island though! The only shop at the airport is a very small canteen selling snacks, drinks and newspapers.

I must advise you, however, that your map showing the location of Horn Island Airport is incorrect. Horn Island is one of the closest islands to mainland Australia. Your map is pointing to the outer Torres Strait Islands of Saibai, Badu and Duane which are closer to Papua New Guinea.
