Adelaide
A modern terminal built in 2005. Mostly domestic but a few flights from SE Asia each week. There is at this time (2010) a curfew on arrivals and departures between 2300 and 0600. For a city of 1m people it scores very well. Oh, the usual security hassles but nothing extraordinary. Most officials are friendly and and helpful. No tips required.

Very Modern
Nice open planned airport with large windows looking over the tarmac. Good views of the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide City buildings (in the distance). The Aerobridges are full glass ones and look fantastic. Toilets are the cleanest I've have been to compared to other terminals in Australia. Great place to fly into internationally, customs are easy and not as busy as Sydney and Melbourne. International departures and arrivals are in the one terminal. Gates can be transformed from International gates to domestic gates or vice versa.

Regional Flights
When you catch a regional flight you have to walk over 400m in the terminal to your gate then sometimes up to 300m from your gate to aircraft. On some airlines when you arrive from a regional location you have to be security screened upon arrival as you are coming from an unsecure port into a secure port. One regional airline buses passengers on arrival to the baggage collection bypassing security screening. The general advise for passengers travelling regionally is to allow plenty of time to check-in then be prepared to be bussed or security screened upon arrival.
